does violence realism (not the violence itself, but the realistic qualities that games/music/movies have achieved over the years) truly effect people who play/listen/view them? i've played games my whole life since chopper command on the atari 2600, watched horror films since Sleepaway Camp first came out on VHS and not one of them has made me evil. lots of people feel the same way. but so many kids today are uncaring thugs who act out rants of "i do what i want." the parents are to blame some, the individual's mental state fares its share as well, but what percentage nowadays of the human action control experience comes from entertainment outlets?
