Oh - and I'll save you the trouble... we've established that I'm old.  I'm also apparently ignorant.  And, I'm confident you think I'm a dick after my last post.

So, I've accepted all that.  When you come up with anything more intelligent to come back at me with, feel free to post.

I'm out for now - my number of posts is creeping too close to triple digits for my taste.  I  hope not to cross that threshold for a while.

I'm off to see if the rain has chilled a bit yet and get some lunch.  If I choke on it - you won't have to worry about anymore ignorant posts from me.

 Later dudes.

Ok, so what would your solotion have been?  9,200+ posts to this message board... do you have some words of wisdom for us all about it?  Or, do you just want to shoot other people down?

I'm fine with either really (although personally, if I had posted almost 10,000 on ANY message board, I think I'd tell myself to get a freaking life - but that's just me...) [/QB]
its been over 6 years, jackass.

and if you really want my solution (which i'm sure you dont give a shit about) it would have been to cancel the show.  If the roads are not passable , the show must be cancelled. and its not Radioheads determination, i dont believe.
and how do you even know they were aware of people not getting in?  I just cant believe you're complaining cause they played too long!! of all the things to complain about.

If you were capable of paying attention, you'd see that I didn't take much issue with the actual length of the set - just that they could have shifted it earlier.  They commented enough that they were very aware of how hateful the night was for their fans.  Yet, they did nothing to help the situation, when with some creativity, they'd have been able to.

Oh - and I've been on this board for a long time too (six monts longer than yourself) - but I have a life along with it.

 Later.

Gave her a $10 she gave me $2 back and as i was getting ready to walk away she says "can i have a tip?"  and i said "yeah, get some hot chocolate over here, its fucking cold out!"

can i have a tip?  please.

Whoohoo!  I knew there'd be some comprehensive gigography somewhere.  This site is fantastic.  Thanks much.

Um, Nissan allows High Schools in PWC to hold gradutaions there for free.  Which is definitely something its does for the county.

And as for Radiohead, fucking amazing.

As for the lack of side video screens, I stood on the lawn, and was glad they didn't allow these screens.  I think it would have ruined what the band tried to create with their light setup, which was fantastic.  The mini video screen behind the band was very cool though.  But I think side screens would have looked weird with all the lights.

people who justify who they and others are by the number of posts on "________" chat rooms, are amusing.  talking to people, whether it be on a computer or in real space, does not equal a life or lack of it.  only madonna's 2008 slutty old hag tour does that.

Who said anything about everything?  They aren't even doing something.

This tour looks like every single other big shed tour.  So while they claim to be "concerned" about their impact, they have not done anything about it.  Not even the somethings they said they were going to do.

radiohead never said this tour would be perfectly enviro - they said it would be one of their concerns, and that they'd factor it in.  in the case of nissan, i'm guessing that other factors - like being in bed with livenation, venue size, venue availability, etc - trumped carbon concerns.

nissan was indeed a horrible choice of venue, there are a couple of others on the tour that are similar (like outside seattle).
