I might get there in the morning at the patriot center just incase if the tour bus arrives early.

I better watch for security. don't go near the tour bus door for band members to show up.

According to Eddie over in the FAQ forum:

 Doors - 7:00
 65DaysOfStatic - 8:00
 The Cure 9:00

No word on ending time for the Cure, though. Hopefully midnite!

I was extremely pleased with my 5/9 concert choice. Play For Today and Jumping Someone Else's Train were incredible songs I never thought I'd hear live in 2008.

Only songs I wanted (and they'd been playing) that we missed were A Night Like This and Charlotte Sometimes, but they played 38 songs so who can complain? We had awesome seats to this too.

This show was beyond awesome, what a great night. I was waiting for Fascination Street, but with that set list no one can complain...

a.m.a.z.i.n.g.

3 hours! nearly 40 songs! last time i was at a show that long was ryan adams in 2001 and trust me, this was far better!

wow. all they did was want to play and all we wanted to do was dance and listen. always a good formula.

we were in 103 but moved to 116 after a half hour, the echo and reverb really distorted the sound since 103 is right near a concrete wall down on the floor. sound once we moved was clear and strong.

me thinks i will need to see them again on this tour.

for those of you down front, how does robert look after all these years?

I didnt think I was going to sell my ticket at first.  I had some people that asked about it.  I had this one guy who asked and then was like would you take 10 bucks for it I'll give you 10 bucks.  I thought to myself is this guy insane hell no I would rather just give it away that was ridiculous.  so come to find out that guy was a scalper and had tons to sell.  scumbags all scalper should die.  other then that awesome show and floor seats were great and didnt get trampled by goths.

I will comment in more detail when I have more time, but if you missed this show and you're a Cure fan then you majorly fucked up. I could opt to focus on how "Why Can't I Be You?" was missing the keyboard parts or that "Let's Go To Bed" may work better as a synth-driven song, but they're minor complaints when you see the definitive version of "A Forest" played. "Jumping Someone Else's Train" killed, as did all of the songs from "Pornography". Phenomenal lighting on the "One Hundred years". Good gawd. Lily, I'm with you. They end the tour in NYC, might be a good idea to see if we can go to that one.
