Not to dog-pile on Brian, but I just heard my first "Black Parade"-era My Chemical Romance song yesterday, and its nothing but a Queen rip-off. At least songs like that "I'm Not Okay" track had a little angst to propel it along.
Back to Coachella, I do agree with Brian about the cost, but when you add in travel costs, time off and everything else, it's a pretty penny. And considering you can see most of the bands in the next 6 months or so play full sets, it just doesn't add up.
Still, now that I can expense travel to Chicago for work, I'm gearing up for at least one of their summer festivals. Here's hoping Pitchfork turns out stellar.
