What are the symptoms of hipster heatstroke?

You start to ramble on about how Coldplay have made meaningful contributions to music and are the next U2 or Radiohead.

He/She prefers to listen to azaghal1981's  playlist over Tom Petty.

i'll be at home sitting in the ac, enjoying the fact that i won't ever have the misfortune of somehow seeing them again.  it was a close call at coachella in 04 when i was talking to some friends in front of the stage before they played, but i did manage to get the hell out of there before they started up!

Tonight will be awesome.  The new album has a lot more fast paced songs, and as long as they do not play 2 slow songs in a row, im happy.

During the tour for Plans they opened with 'Sound of Settling' and kept a decent pace. They did a little slow set around 'I Will Follow You Into the Dark' but that was towards the middle to end, but for the most part kept a good mix.
nothx

Actually I think the new album is really terrible. I only really like Cath... and Your New Twin Sized Bed.

This was one of my favorite bands for the last 5+ years, but this album really stinks to me.

The show was good overall.  The sound really sucked at first, it either got better or my ears adjusted it out.  After the 4th or 5th song all was well.  The sound is never great at Merriweather but being home 5 mins after a show makes me forget that most of the time.

They played a good mix of things from many albums and seemed to keep the crowd happy most of the time.  It was odd to see which songs made the crowd go crazy and which they talked through - I guess anything played on the radio is automatically better than anything else that may be played to some folks.

It was hot in  the pit and  it smelled bad, hipsters need to lean to use deoderant.... seriously....

Good show.  Being 5 minutes from home is awesome.

yes I thought it was a good but not great concert. Just not sure if they really cut it as an arena / shed band. Ben's voice, while distinctive, just doesn't ring out like it should for a big venue. Maybe they should've turned his vocals up more. They are still a work in progress imho.

Good show overall.  Hot as balls.  I wasn't in the pit just a few rows back though with seats.  The pit looked hot and sweaty.  Rogue Wave was good.  Seen them before and expected the same.  Anyone think the drummer looks like a porn actor from the 70's with that hair and stache????  Death Cab was good.  I didn't expect them to rock that much but I was impressed.  Wasn't Ben Gibbard fat before??  Did he lose some weight or am I thinking of the guy from the Decemberists?
