Even though Dupek and I had an occasional falling out (most notably when he embedded a scream sound file on every single thread of Doomlink, and I knew better than to ever, ever click on a URL he'd posted from work, my overall opinion of him was that he was a good guy, and occasionally very funny.  So I hope he reappears.
 
 And yeah, with all the damn name changes I'm never sure who anyone is.  I wasn't sure who anyone was from the beginning, so it's not even like I lost track, I didn't have track.

When you come from the 9:30 home page, and look at the threads at the bottom, the original names appear.  That is the only way I know to see who is who.
