Arlington native, Sandra Bullock, donated one million bucks.
 
 F1 racing wünderkind, Michael Schumacher, topped her by donating ten million clams.
 
 ...AND the most powerful man in the world, W, donated ten thousand dollars..?!

No.  It's not about what his salary as (p)resident is.  It's about income-- like his little ventures in oil and such.  He's makin' a lot more than we know about.

 What are "tsunami relief organizations?"
 I have to rant on this for a moment-- please please please don't give to the red cross.  they spend nearly $.40 on the dollar on overhead-- which is terrible for a charity organization.  Look instead to groups like CARE or Oxfam, which spend about $.10 on overhead and which are focused on long-term community development and empowerment in the process, rather than just dumping bottles of water...

there was an article in the post about this this weekend - apparently some charities are promising 100% of your donation will go to the relief effort which some believe is impossible
 
 I 'think' red cross is promising that 6% of tsunami donations will go to admin

I'm going to play Devils Advocate for a moment here.  When are people going to start boycotting Oxfam or CARE for development -- read: telling other countries how to spend their money.
