Yeah, from your end, I can fully understand that and I pretty much agree with you.
In part, my anger towards the oil industry and other issues was coming out too but I was trying to stay on topic. Oh, and I just read yesterday that tax cuts for hybrid cars (or some of them) will be cut in half. So much for you know who doing anything about encouraging us to conserve. [/b]
nothing we were talking about yesterday had anything to do with the oil industry. . .
this has nothing to do with "you know who" ending cuts on hybrids. . .i mean, california (and virginia too, for that matter) is no longer giving out carpool lane exemptions to hybrids because there are simply so many of them out there now, that such incentives aren't needed (not to mention that funding is running out).
bags, trust me, like this should be any surprise, i am just as upset about how people are moving from NIMBY to BANANA (build absolutely nothing anywhere near anything), but yes, i would like to keep my 2 refrigerators, big screen tv, extra large washer and dryer and run my AC 24 hours a day. . .new england and california are the worst in that regards. it annoys me that now that wind is becoming economically viable, environmentalists (and the new england elite) are coming out against it. lots of things about this industry annoy me, and in large part it's because of what you stated. . .people complain about not wanting new transmission or generation, but. . oh, yes, i definately want to increase my usage. . .utility company, you'll still be able to keep my power on, right.
i think that's more what i was upset with yesterday, and taking it out on jag. a sheer lack of understanding about the electricity industry in general.
