yes. in fact, that's the reason i'm flying to chicago for the weekend. i gave up waiting around for a dc date. then i saw that its the mls all star game vs chelsea. and, have since learned that the frames are doing an aftershow as well.
though i'm not going to lollapalooza.
needless to say, i am VERY excited for my trip. 2 concerts and a soccer game! WOO HOO!
hotels rooms are scarce and expensive. all 3 of kimpton's properties are sold out. i have been doing priceline but i'm still not getting lucky with my price range. i can generally get a 3 star hotel for $60 in philly nearly year round, but i've gone up to $120 in chicago and been locked out. there's a lot going on in the city that weekend-the all star game, lollapalozza, and another festival that i read about.
