cameras/alkaline trio

why are some shows allowed to have cameras and some shows not allowed...i dont understand
 
 and i also dont understand what makes a camera a professional camera.
 
 are cameras allowed at the alkaline trio show?

There are several factors that impact the decision about whether or not cameras or recording are allowed.
 
 Loose guidelines for pro cameras are that if it has changeable lenses, zoom or recording capabilities it is pro.
 
 Non pro cameras will be ok for the Alkaline trio show.
