And a Steelers fan and a Lakers fan. Georgia Bulldogs for college football, Indiana Hoosiers for college basketball and UMaine for college hockey.

Ok moron, the Leafs went most of the 80's without even making the playoffs, the Lakers went the mid 90's without having a good team, the steelers have won zero superbowls since i became a fan around 1978 and didnt do well in the 80's that i can remember and the Yankees didnt start winning again until the mid 90's. My favorite Yankee was Don Mattingly and i never remembered him once being in the playoffs. Its not my fault that now the Yankees have the largest payroll and are winners, or that the lakers traded for Shaq and Kobe and are now winners or that the Steelers made at least seven consecutive playoffs under Cowher and are winners (well except for this year). As for the Leafs well they just became good after all those years of suffering for me. Thats my story and i'm sticking to it!!!!!!!!

Why not just support your hometown team? Or the team closest to your hometown.

Became a fan cause of the following:

Lakers - Just happened to see a game on tv where the Lakers and Sixers were playing when i was 8 years old. For some reason i picked the Lakers even though they got swept 4-0 by Philly.
Hoosiers - For Christmas one year my Dad got me a mini Hoosiers basketball.....my bro got a Georgetown one......poor guy.
Bulldogs - I cant remember how i became a fan.
Yankees - My fisrt baseball card was Bucky Dent.
Steelers - My first football card was Rocky Bleier.
Leafs - We had a hockey game when i was a kid, Maple Leafs v. Black Hawks, my bro was always the Black Hawks.....Pretty easy guess of who i was....but since we're in the 9:30 forum i'll tell you i was the Maple Leafs.

As for driving past Yankee Stadium on the way to Norhtern Virginia, I actually drove here from Colorado, so unless i took the scenic route, that surely didnt happen.

wrigley is the best. . .friday afternoon games, ivy in the outfield. . . and beer is sold till the bottom of the 8th inning on day games.  plus, they sell old style!

second favourite- pnc. . it's a beautiful stadium. . .and they sell iron city and ic light. . .if camden sold natty-boh, then i'd put camden above pnc. . .gotta support your local brews.

let's see, worst stadium. . .the vet in philly (but that's gone now). . .not that i've been, but i hear, from very reliable sources, that busch stadium is awful, at least they put grass back in a few years ago.  i think espn voted olympic stadium as the worst in baseball.
