Opening Acts

Over the last couple of years I have been hitting a lot of shows in the Richmond, DC, Baltimore corridor.  Many of these shows have some great opening acts that would do well at the 930.  Whats the best way to get word of good bands to the club so that they can open for acts that need an opener?

The best thing to do is keep them active in the local music scene.  On the rare occasions that we have the opportunity to add a band to a bill, we generally draw from the pool of talent that has been active in the areas clubs.
