great show. a bit different than i was expecting. i thought it was going to literally be in the cafeteria. nice set up regardless. I didnt see everyone, but Birth Control (good for what they are, just not my kind of music) and Ringo Deathstarr (bad ass shoegaze, decent sized pedal boards, and the band seemed cool as well.) Cool place to have shows, and i hope you guys do more there. My only real complaint was it was way too hot in that building (though ive been to summer classes at that school that the buildings were hotter, and i didnt realize it was BYOB until i was there and couldnt really leave. Cant wait to go to this basement speakeasy show this weekend to see RDS again (along with Screen Vinyl Image and the Vandelles). Good to see shows at places that arent your average run of the mill spots. Also, i think a lot the crowd watching RDS only knew five bands cause i kept hearing people scream out Joy Division and Ian Curtis (yeah i hear it a little, but not as bad as some in the crowd made it seem, way more effects than Ian and company used, vocals not really sound like him either...).
