Got GAs for DC and Charlottesville this morning.   ;D

Funny how the pair of DC tickets ended up costing $21 more than the pair of C'ville ones ($156.70 vs. $135.70).

Thanks, Mr. Snyder.

Hey Eros did you get those tickets thru the u2 presale?  We had this option of presale in charlottesville but it didn't start till 12 by that time I tried to get GA and none were available.  Will try again friday.

It was the venue presale for here in Charlottesville and there was no GA at all in the sale.  The general sale is on Friday and for DC the general sale will be Mon I think.

I'm surprised there's not more talk about the on-sale this morning.   I had no problem getting field seats.  It looks like  you can still get the $250 seats and the $30 seats, but the $55/$95 tickets are gone.

it's amazing how a $30 ticket turns into a $52 ticket after the fees...

Amazing.

It pains me that even one cent of what I spend to see U2 will go into this man's pocket.

by all accounts, DC has the privilege of paying the highest % surcharges of the tour thanks to additional "venue fees" (aka the snyder tax).

I got shut out for general admission and I don't want to spend $50 for a $30 nosebleed seat.  The service fee for Fedex is $8 per ticket in addition to Ticketmaster.  How can that ass get away with that?
