Opinions?

According to their website they will be playing the 930 Club in July.

If you like Bloc Party this is the band for you. I would not go to the show.

They don't sound anything like Bloc Party, but thanks for playing.

I concur... Anyone want to call for an end in the debate?

I have the Bloc Party and the Kaiser Chiefs CDs.  The latter is on my player a lot more often.  Vocals have a bit of Brian Eno in them, that early new wave sound that is just "happy".  This is music for the spring and summer and a lot of fun.  So I recommend the album.

 Bloc Party, feh.

this months postal service list hasn't arrived at chez kozmo yet either... but it was a at the tuesday kraftwerk show... i expect the whine level to reach 11 on tuesday... so seek out the appropriate information, preferrable at a fine record store or at the club before then.

Agreed both albums are B- efforts with one or two brilliant moments which will undoubtly be compiled to death in the UK for years to come...

I agree...The Bloc Party album is solid and a good listen all the way through.  I like it more and more over time.  The Kaiser Chiefs have a couple great songs -- paticularly "I Predict a Riot" -- but the album is really uneven, with some really subpar songs in the mix.  Reminds me of Jet, in the way that a few fast songs are standouts, but the rest is filler or really bad ballads.

Just my opinion.  Also, I know Bloc Party puts on a good show.  I haven't seen K.C.
