French Quarter Fest takes place right in the French Quarter (obvious right) and is free.   Been to 3 of them and they are a lot of fun.

I really don't think you could ever go wrong going to a festival with a focus on Louisiana Music and food
Sight unseen, I approve of this fest

The Cure going on a big euro-tour in last quarter of 2022.  rest of the world will need to wait until 2023.  simon gallup back with the band.  shows will run 135 minutes... interesting that they would like that up front.  new album on the way, too.
