also, apparently today (4/07) is National Beer Day.  maybe i should mark this special occasion by not having a beer, for once ;D

We're having some Cabernet tonight.

Of course I disagree with his politics and largely can’t stand his music but the fact Ahmet Ertegun loved him does give me pause.

There is a new beer in town

Although taste is secondary to our efforts to virtue signal and make the libs cry

$35 a six pack (that’s 12 oz cans, like god intended)

This bud light thing just has me reading all these stupid stories

but that Matt Walsh, DC draino and other rightwing mouthpieces celebrating the 'collapse of AB' is just killing me
they keep using the stock price and it's hysterical because the stock just had a major surge a month ago of 10%, then it's gone down 5% over the last week or so (i.e. still up 5% from a month ago) as evidence that they have put somewhere between a 3Bill and 5Bill hurt on the brand
I bet in a week or two that most of that 'loss' will be erased and this has had almost no impact

I gotta imagine all the MAGA sheep are just eating it up "We're winning the war on Bud Light!"  Let's throw out more of products we've already bought

this headline in a financial blog says it all
Anheuser-Busch: Blowing Up Bud Light Cans Doesn't Change The Company's Bottom Line

god these people are so stupid

Technically a 10% increase followed by a 5% decrease would be an overall increase of 4.5%, not 5%.

Now you can see why my wife hates me.

Clearly I need to follow Ted Lieu as his twitter feed is expert level snark...

Actually,
@HouseGOP
 did accomplish some things.

1. Republicans took turns reading the Constitution out loud on the House Floor.

2. They held two hearings complaining about Twitter.

3. Some GOP Members boycotted Bud Light and instead brought other beers from the same company.

This story is so bizarre
https://www.thedailybeast.com/donald-trump-jr-urges-right-wingers-to-end-boycott-of-conservative-leaning-bud-light

Junior is like “hey bud lite sucks for what they did, but let’s not cancel them as they give a lot of money to republicans “

I was coming here to discuss the outright violence that has beset the American lager.

wasn't bad enough that all those fancy kids were drinking their IPA's
now we have to deal with automatic weapons and nation-states

I have no idea what you're talking about but I completely agree. Or disagree. I don't know.
