Question for those who have a bottle stash in the cellars...

Which brewery do you have the most bottles from? My current top three are:

Founders: 22 bottles
Victory: 20 bottles
Ommegang: 17 bottles

Unibroue (counting TJ's Vintage) and Lagunitas are close behind.

My problem is I buy more beer than i drink.

It sounds like you might have an expiration problem soon.

Haha. Nah, I meticulously rotate stuff to beat the expiration dates.  :D

Those Victory, Founders, and Ommegang's all have anywhere from nine months to 5+ years left.

I'd be down for a forum tasting sometime - especially seeing as none of us seem to go to actual concerts any more  :P

I have a feeling I'd be expected to serve up something better than the Sierra Celebration my wife breaks out when the non-beer snob neighbors stop by.  ;)

So what's the best beer you drank in 2011? You can only pick one. I'll go first:

Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Vanilla Stout.

Was fortunate enough to come across this at a beer store while visiting my parents in Upstate NY. Then I made the stupid mistake of passing on a bottle of BCS Rare for $40. Couldn't justify spending that much on one bomber at the time (though I would have bought it now). Nonetheless, the BCS Vanilla was spectacularly good.

The Corsendonk ale is my traditional holiday beer.  Unfortunately I haven't bought any this year.

Did buy some Lagunitas Sucks last night.

Tried Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA yesterday . . .whoa . . .amazing beer, but truly must be consumed with caution.  One bottle drunk over about 30 minutes at lunch seemed like 3hrs and 6 beers

I learned that both Duvel and Goose Island Mathilda go great with a seafood feast.

I also learned that Williamsburg Alewerks Bourbon Barrel Porter, though quite yummy, doesn't pair with chili.

grateful
