I know it's not cool to like the fruited sours, but damn if there's anyone doing it better than Cushwa, fill me in. Perfect day for hiking and beer.

Amen to that. Planning a once in a lifetime guys trip with my brother for Fall 2022 but the weather here is so damn perfect I don't want to leave.

And as I was typing that Lovely Day by Bill Withers started playing.

since when?  i guess i missed the memo... i love fruited sours.  if the sour isn't fruited or dry-hopped, it's a huge wasted opportunity IMO.

are the sour-fruit-hater anti-kriek as well?

Sorry I forgot to reply to this before. When I was talking about "fruited sours", I was referring specifically to a beer like this one:

A mango coconut bread pudding sour

...which, by the way, is an awesome beer.

I wasn't talking about barrel aged sours or Belgian sours fruited wild ales...all stuff the snobs do love.

Sounds like space is mad he's paying $7.99 for a can of trub and doesn't have access to the good stuff.

Sours, are the Gods of beers. All other beers, are just disciples.

Oh, and for Space . . . penis.

Oh, I have a good three cases of the "good stuff" sitting in my basement. Cantillion, Drie Fonteinen, Casey, the Bruery, Russian River, the Veil, Allagash, Trillium, Oxbow, Crooked Stave, Hudson Valley, Pantomime Mixtures, etc.

That doesn't make me like Cushwa's fruited sours any less.

speaking of Cantillion
went to Zwanze day at the sovereign for a few

I couldn't stay for the 2021 tapping (I know....lame), but did have some of the 2020.   Beetroot was odd, but I liked it
Really liked the Tucher Brau Hefeweizen....not your daddys typical Hefe...very dark and tasty (actually a Dunkelweizen, but listed as a Hefe?)

I don't know anything about that hefe, but are you sure which of these two beers you were drinking?
