i've always thought urick's solo laptop material was average at best. and i say this as someone who has seen him live numerous times.  haven't heard his new record, though.  there's no way it's half as good as the new polvo.

kinda funny that you like to dis on polvo when you have birds of maya playing your fest.  i like those guys, but their brand of amped-up stoner-rock riffage is a dime a dozen. 

sightings and religious knives are awesome.

That was entertaining. You shouldn't have stopped short with the RNR Hotel dis, though. That place (and mostly Steve Lambert himself) is a giant pimple on this city's ass that needs to be stopped.
