over. way over

how many big games have either of those goalies won in the nhl, let alone against all star teams? i see it as a 5-5 game headed to a shootout
Yes, excellent analysis. Nabokov + Luongo + big game = over on 5.5 PER TEAM.

And I'd take the Swiss and 2.5

dunno if my heart could take that.

Haven't watched much of the Olypmics but I have to say Curling is the weirdest sport I've ever seen.

curling is an awesome sport.  it's oddly captivating.  callat703/sage703 had these links to share:

http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/47810

Its a sport with players dressed like referees,

have you seen the danish men's team?!?

And I'd take the Swiss and 2.5

i'll cover you if you want... no way the swiss keep this within 2.

They kept it within 2 earlier in these olympics, didn't they? And that was before the US started having every announcer verbally-fellatio them for two days. Ryan Miller was on Ryan Seacrest yesterday, for God's sake. I can totally see the US coming out fat and let-down-y.

Lets not forget Brian Rafalski is the US' leading goal scorer, for additional God's sake. They aren't exactly an offensive jugernaut. And Jonas Hiller is on the other end.

If you watch women's curling long enough, you'll begin to find them strangely attractive, like the lady who brings you food in a diner, even though you know if you saw them in a bar you wouldn't give them a second look.

Damn, you're right!  I spent all that time looking for an illegal feed and it's live on NBC.  Yes, there's audio and the software is Microsoft's Silverlight.

if you guys want "strange" events at a games . . . look no further than the gay olympics!!!

you can see people medaling in:  cheerleading, flag football, darts, billards, rugby, squash . . . and my favourite, physique.  they actually give you a medal for looking good.  oh those gays!

should we not talk about the game out of respect for those who can't watch it live?  are you folks going to watch it tonight, or do you want live updates & commentary?

can anyone tell if they'll be streaming the CAN-RUS game?  i can't figure it out.  the stream quality is pretty good, i'd happily watch that instead of trekking out to bugsy's (love the place, but driving = little drinking... boooo).

Because you're my new favorite person, I did spend time in between periods trying to figure out how to install Sliverlight without Admin rights, but I wasn't able to do it.  I'll try again for the third....
