Saw the xx at Sonar the night before and I thought they were great.  The girl, romy, did a dj later in the night which was also very good.

the show was high on the douche-o-meter......thankfully they left before hot chip....

and stood in front of me on the floor....seriously, just because you're rolling doesn't mean everyone else is!

did anybody who saw hot chip also see them the last time they played the club?  i was sad i couldn't see them because of a widespread evening, but was just curious how it compared to the (fucking incredible) time that i did see them.

this saturday was my third time seeing HC at the 930.  i preferred this show to the previous one (i.e. the second time i saw them).  that second time was indeed a great show, too, but this last one was a tad better as I wasn't expecting as much and they over-delivered.

I love my boys, I swear I do...but wow. I miss "The Warning"...let's just say that.

Also, wow, they have some horrible fans.

Yeah, the last two albums do nothing for me with the exception of "Ready for the Floor."

Another friend of mine had those sentiments about the crowd; "knobby" was the word she used.
