Lots of good lists here.

Since it's Ecstatic Peace!, most do lean in an obvious direction but there are a few diversions.

Good amount of local shows are included on quite a few lists.

quite painful to see some of these lists, particularly Thou @ Big Bear (didn't you miss this show too out of laziness?).  Looks like Rangda got mentioned the most? :)

Yeah I did flake on that. It only lasted a couple songs until cops pulled the plug on it, I think.

Rangda did get mentioned a lot because they are simply put, the best "supergroup" ever.

They hit DC and Baltimore in the same day.

It would have been possible to have caught Thou in Baltimore, DC and High on Fire at the Black Cat all in that day, as a matter of fact.

Cream sucked/sucks

oh, c'mon, man, this ain't true.  what is true is that clapton is quite possibly the most overrated guitarist ever, but i still like his playing in the yardbirds, cream, john mayall's bluesbreakers, and blind faith. ginger baker and jack bruce are great, and cream had some killer songs ("tales of brave ulysses" being my personal favorite).

the jack rose tribute show in philly was a popular pick, and rightfully so.

Derek and the Dominoes!  Recently relistened to their amazing 1970 live stuff from the NY Fillmore on Wolfgang's Vault and couldn't help thinking Clapton is somehow totally underrated as a result of his late vintage boring dreck being so overrated

Yeah that Pentagram show at Jaxx was a hoot. Bobby Liebling's parents in crowd watching him perform was epic. Death Row at Jaxx was cool too.

Phoenix - DAR
Julian Casablancas - 9:30
Arcade Fire - MPP
deadmau5 - Roseland
30th Anniversary - 9:30

I wish I had gone to the deadmau5 show at the 9:30 - the visuals alone looked utterly amazing!

ha, beat me to it!  i was going to start this thread earlier this week while i was still at home and able to consult my ticket stub collection.  but now i'm on the road until NYE so my submission will have to wait.

underworld and jonsi will definitely be on my list as well, PiL may be, not so sure about Muse - great show but not sure it cracks my top 10 (i preferred their last tour, in 2007?).

finally got around to consulting the collection:

underworld @ 930
jonsi @ 930
PiL @ 930
talvin singh @ echoplex
belle & sebastian @ DAR
gogol bordello (nye) @ 930
faith no more @ warfield
phoenix @ filllmore (DAR was damn solid too)
LCDSS @ freefest
temper trap @ freefest
30th anniversary party @ 930
atoms for peace @ roseland
groove armada @ webster hall
