It's nice to see so many people all jonsed up over seeing a 70 year old in concert that's not Willy Nelson

There are maybe four artists in that age range who I'd pay $60 to see do a solo acoustic club gig...

Jagger
Bowie
McCartney
Willie

At the rate his solo career is going, you might be able to get Mick Jagger to play your living room for $60.

I should have specified "doing the songs of the Rolling Stones."

McCartney would be allowed to mix Beatles, Wings, and solo. Which he typically does, right?

Ok i'll add Neil and Bruce (take that Wallace), but you'd have to pay me three beers and a free ticket to stand through Cat.

Cat Stevens....only if he was in one of those cages that you throw balls at a target to dunk him in icy cold water..

I'd pay good money to do that.

Okay....here's my take on those mentioned

Bowie - only every week if I could
Jagger - depends if Top Gear was on telly that night...even a repeat.
McCartney - NOPE
Willie - possibly...so many people love this bloke I have got to be missing something.
Neil - Yep
Bruce - Naw...saw him many years ago. Great show but don't need to see another.
Tom Waits - most definately.
Stevens - with stipulations...see previous comment.

Oh..
PS - Yep.

Others not mentioned

Dylan - nope, love lots of his work but he needs to give up live in my opinion.

Morrission - miserable old twat might not even show up himself, so NO!

Beach Boys - Nope...I must be missing something with these too but don't want to find whatever it is.

BTW- How old is Joe Jackson???

I guess it's fair that Mick would be allowed to do Stones songs, but who wants to hear any guitar player except Keith? That's much less of a concern with Paul. Plus people have had decades to get used to Paul playing Beatles tunes solo, whereas I don't think Mick does Stones songs (or at least not more than a couple) on his solo tours. I'm totally pulling that factoid out of my bum though.
