I'm old. I want a seat. Especially since the douchebag attendance for this show could be high.
For the record, when I saw them in SF this year, the audience was pretty cool. I talked to a bunch of folks near me and the band's audience has expanded to include some pretty open-minded folks. We were all asking about the types of music we're listening to and it was a pretty huge spectrum. I don't know if that just reflects SF, but the crowd was very enthusiastic. No blabbing, no pushing or shoving...it was nice. I don't think you need to worry too much. When I saw QOTSA in Philly last year at the Made in America festival, I was right by Garren James, the pimp from the TV show Gigolos. And he was actually super nice and we chatted a bunch before and after the set. It was pretty amusing.
