For some reason, I always considered them some kind of mainstream band like Foo Fighters, Weezer, or Pearl Jam (in their respective genre), but maybe I am wrong.I felt that way for a while, and then I heard their albums.

Quote from: Sidehatch on May 14, 2014, 11:58:33 ampersonally not a huge fan, but they are an act I can imagine puts on a great live show.I just don't like big venues like MPP and unless it's a band that I have to see...I avoid most shows thereyeah i'm the same... i saw two shows last year at MPP (New Order and the Bob Dylan/band that used to be Wilco fest)before that i think i'd gone a few years without going thereI'd like to see Willie Nelson also at MPP this year but only crap seats available .. i think i was practically nearly dead when tickets went on sale or something...otherwise i can't imagine having passed that onsale up.

I love going there. It was designed to be an acoustically perfect outdoor venue and was one of Frank Gehry's first designs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merriweather_Post_Pavilion
No.. there was a time in my life that I enjoyed sweaty men rubbing against me for hours at a time, but I grew out of that phase.
