All this over one of the most over rated bands in the history of music.

17 posts equals "all this"?

It was more the content than the quantity.

Light rail is right there. Stops... everywhere...

Someone from Baltimore would never say that as it's nothing but a very one directional line going back and forth. Forget any side tracking into other areas. You'd have to take a bus which takes a ridiculous amount of time getting anywhere, if it even goes wherever else you would like to go. The Baltimore area mass transit system leaves a whole lot to be desired for the locals though the Light Rail will stop in enough areas for the poster's interests.

You might even consider using the BWI Park And Ride after spending an afternoon in Ellicott City lunching and browsing.

But you can easily walk to Federal Hill which is about 5 blocks away.  Lots of great restaurants and bars there.  I trek to Soundgarden is not that bad, but even taking a taxi there is not that big a deal.  But the light rail runs late, is right there at the stadium, and has easy parking.  I have used it for many an event in the city.

If there was a hip hall of fame, this post would be in on the first ballot.  LOL @ U2 bashing, what a tired endeavor.

That's not something I (nor my wife) wish to see. Wouldn't matter who the band was.

I am picturing you in a captain big-boy sailors outfit licking a lollipop while posting this.

The Irish are always saying "oh grand grand grand grand" so I figured they were referring to their stuff.

Can't say that I know much at all about Irish men and what they are packing (or not) but it may well explain why so many of them have very high pitched speaking and singing voices. That was something I've always wondered about. Their voices, not the relationship to what's down below.

Will light rail run fairly often?  A friend thinks it will be overrun and not run very much, thereby being a nightmare.

Thanks!!

I remember seeing U2 during that Walmart tour at RFK and Bono got all pissie because the last metro left before their gig was supposed to end, including encore.

I remember seeing U2 at RFK on the Joshua Tree tour and Bono got all pissy cause he slipped and broke his collarbone.
