So, to me the Feelies show had the feel of a tribal pow wow with Bill, Brenda, Stan and Dave providing the pulsating rhythms and Glenn murmuring the incantations.
Sir, I (sporadically) write Julian’s America so I want you to understand I am qualified to speak when I say: you are a bit high on your own supply.

Sunset Rubdown. Thought Krug & co were excellent and that Howard's sound was solid. Set was 1.5 hrs and had a nice mix of all 3 proper albums. Excited for new material down the line.

I mean, Krug is still fine, but its nowhere near the Champagne house it once was.

It wasn't too loud, though that may be a function of my hearing catching up with a lifetime of concerts. I really had no idea what this band was about. It was just an impulse buy for a show at the Fillmore by band that didn't suck at first glance. I wasn't expecting aliens.

Ross said it better:

felt like I was there

- Why do people go to concerts and talk through the whole thing? Can’t they go to the movies to do that like everyone else?

- So far this is a damn good show but it’s a mostly goth crowd so every one looks bored

- Memo to everyone: Bauhaus has more than that one shirt design.

and I got some photo confirmation that an alien was on stage

at some point it appears they removed his brain

Doug Martsch is a gawt damn guitar god... so underrated and so good.

The new three piece all female rhythm section absolutely crushed last night... old classics, a couple newer tunes, and a brand new single.

The club was probably at 75% capacity,  a absolute pleasure to be in.

Spent another evening with this same band last night... It makes me happy that Doug can still roll through town once a year and pack the club. It wasn't my favorite setlist of the last few BTS shows I've seen, but all in all a great show. A killer cover of The Mountain by The Heartless Bastards as well.

Also met boardie legend Bagley, a true gent!

Twas an honor and a privilege to make your acquaintice Yada.

Quite the power trio.  A very tight unit indeed!

Carry the Zero's a classic and they nailed it.

Opener was good too.

Sorry I missed seeing you all last night at BTS! It was my first time seeing them and I thought they were great.

NOT great...forgetting my wallet! Not a big deal, but the whomever was walking around was a real asshole when I went to the bathroom and washed my hands. Made me walk back and get the stamps put back on, which frankly, was a little humiliating since I'm 45 and old enough to have a 21 year old. I know them's the rules. A little less rude would have been appreciated. I was not attempting to purchase, hold, or drink alcohol. In fact, I was drinking water and coffee.

Been coming to the 930 since before I was legally able to drink and never was accosted like that by staff before last night. I get that I could have been someone checking on them, etc....just maybe treat us old ladies with a little more respect when we clearly forgot our wallet, had a picture of my license on my phone, and wasn't interested in consuming alcohol.

Had I not witnessed a woman super inebriated on shrooms or coke or something and being served multiple beers on Friday night at Caroline Rose, slamming into everyone and almost went over the railing, I don't think it would have been that big of a deal.
