Having only first heard of Sabrina Carpenter recently I had no idea she has released six albums for which of course means she gets nominated for a best new artist Grammy   ::)

Obviously you don’t have teenage girls in your house
She was in a bunch of Disney tv shows/movies
we  listened to her since 2017
I think I even posted her video thumbs when relaxer made a comment about his thumb head
She played the 9:30 pre covid

Also Funny… kungabrin, who have also been around for over a decade
Edit… I see you already mentioned that

Randomly found myself on Fascination Court this week
I did NOT feel it all fading and paling... didn't realize it only works on Streets, not courts

woah, sex pistols were supposed to play SNL

17th December 1977 - "Times Union" TV listings, American Newspaper.
Malcolm had not only been arranging a Tour of the USA (starting on 30th December '77 at the Leona Theatre, Pittsburgh, though this was cancelled due to visa issues) and an appearance on "Saturday Night Live", NBC TV, but also a Tour of England that was starting to shape up for December, even though local authorities and councils had banned The Pistols. These authories were starting to lift the bans in England, but not in Scotland and Wales.
The USA TV appearance was cancelled. Elvis Costello & The Attractions (on Tour in the USA) featured instead. Drummer Bruce Thomas wore a T-Shirt with "Thanks Malc", written on it.

that was the SNL where Costello played "radio radio" instead of "less than zero", a stunt that got him banned from the show.

I'm still hoping we'll get an all female The Hives tribute band called The Shivs, with apologies of course to Slady

I did not have finding out that Ted Nugent was an early member of a Detroit Funk Group called Black Nasty on my bingo card. The group was previously called Raw Integrated Funk…

While trying to figure out if The Sidewinders album the band Andy Paley was in, was available streaming and amazingly it is. I learned that Billy Squire joined the band after their critical acclaimed but of course poor selling album was released.

nice history of the band here

https://www.mmone.org/the-sidewinders/

clearly whomever wrote that article didn't have it fact checked seeing a Brian Chase of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs was born in 1978  :o  mentally the math wasn't adding up...

this is bs

one other interesting tidbit from the band history a drummer who also joined the band at a later date, Brian Chase, has been the drummer for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs since 2000
