I and a past partner absolutely had both a giant “Rainy Sunday Morning” playlist and also a set aside section of our CD/vinyl collection for “Rainy Sunday Morning LPs” and many of these suggestions proliferated both. It’s definitely a distinct vibe.

tragic ending for him too
Yancey died on February 10, 2006, at his home in Los Angeles, three days after his 32nd birthday and the release of his final album, Donuts.
