930 Survival Football 2013?

Bad news.

Smackie's career has continued to rise at an astronomical pace, and he has now reached level at the University that employs him where NCAA By-Law 10.3 applies to his position.

Quote
NCAA ByLaw 10.3, prohibits student-athletes and all staff members in an athletics department from participation in sport wagering activities on any intercollegiate, amateur, or professional athletics competition.  Sports wagering includes placing, accepting or soliciting a wager (on a staff member?s or student-athlete?s own behalf or on the behalf of others) of any type with any individual or organization on any intercollegiate, amateur, or professional team or contest. This includes pools or fantasy leagues in which an entry fee is required and there is an opportunity to win a prize.

I'm happy to pass administration of this pool off to someone else to run, just let me know who.

I bet they also prohibit employees from posting on forums that condone violence and drug use.

No - everyone pays $100 up front for the whole season.  The way each participant's $100 is dispersed is $5 each week to the weekly winner ($5 * 17 weeks = $85) and $15 to the season winner ($85 + $15 = $100).  So, if there were 20 participants, the weekly payout would be $5 * 20 = $100; and the season winner (most correct picks for the whole season) would get $15 * 20 = $300.
