I find it funny that the people from DC have such low self-esteem that they have to attack the Ravens.  Us Baltimoreans were always respectful to the team in Landover.  Until this thread and the attacks of the Ravens character.  I hope RGIII never plays another game in the NFL and the Landover team has 20 straight losing seasons.

I would like to add:  Ravens in Conference Championship for second straight year.  and 3rd time in the last 5 seasons

I'm not a Ravens hater. In fact, I pull for Bmore when they're in the spotlight. But for fuck's sake, if you guys are in the conf title game so often, maybe you'll actually, you know, win it for once?

yeah when is the last time a team from DC even made the conference championship?  I am guessing you would be thrilled to have a dc team in a conference championship.  I know I would be thrilled if the Capitals could ever make it past the second round.

Whatever we are still playing exciting football.  I guess Landover fans prefer not winning any playoff games and instead worrying about their only players knee while we will be drinking beer wtih friends in bars with friends while enjoying the game on sunday night.

If I could think of a way to help make that happen I would certainly do it.

LOL - you are kidding right?  I know so many Ravens fans that HATE the Redskins - many of them believe the Redskins were blocking Baltimore from having a team for many years (sort of like Orioles/Nationals in reverse)

My buddy is a ravens + redskins fan - he was hearing his redskins jersey and as we were pulling into a gas station, a guy drove up in a truck, wearing a ravens jersey and starting going crazy on my friend - giving him the finger and yelling insults.

this thread is dumb as shit...but lets be honest, the majority of football fans in every city are the shitstains of humanity.

What did he hear his redskins jersey say? Was it chanting RG3?

here are some thoughts about the Ray Lewis verdict from a Baltimore Sun reporter that was actually at the trial

talk about a rampant case of "where you stand depends on where you sit."  these "debates" (a raven is a murderer, the name redskins is racist) is so disgustingly partisan that... oh.  wait.  this is the beltway.  carry on.

So, Pats/49ers Super Bowl, who's in?

i think SF will MURDER the Pats, unless brady + welker SCALP the 49ers... <just trying to stay on topic>

I would like to add:  Ravens in Conference Championship for second straight year.  and 3rd time in the last 5 seasons.  Redskins last trip to the conference championship 21 years ago.  ouch.  But on the bright side you will have good draft picks to help your franchise what you traded them away for a quarteback who has come up lame?
Yeah, we traded away draft picks for a potential Rookie Of The Year and a first time Pro Bowl Rookie Quarterback.... Totally lame.

If Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson had played at RG3''s level all season, their seasons would have been different.

I just don't see the Ravens stopping that Pats offense at all. Would love to see the juggernauts of 9ers and Pats go head to head. I think they're the 2 best teams.

"We"  you play for the Landover, MD based football team that has Washington in it's name???  Yeah they traded away their future for a guy who has a bad knee.   I wonder how many more years it will be before you make it to the NFL Championship.  Landdover MD's nfl team are going to become the Wizards of Football.

As for the Patriots the Ravens beat them this year.  Would have beat them last year if not for Lee Evans dropping a ball and then Cundiff missing a chip shot.  But you know that is why they play the game.  No one thought the lowly Seahawks could beat the Landover, MD NFL team.

And it must suck for DC and Virginia to not have football teams and Maryland to have two.
So, the Dallas Cowboys shouldn't be called the Dallas Cowboys because they play in Arlington? Is that what you're saying? Or maybe the New York Giants should be called the New Jersey Giants because they play in New Jersey? You're a fucking idiot.

Yeah, we're the Wizards of the NFL because we just won 10 games and won the division and went to the playoffs. Do you know who the Washington Wizards even are?

Who said the Seahawks were lowly? They were favored and almost every football pundit picked the Seahawks to win that game. They were the only road team favored to win. So, maybe know less about what you're talking about next time you make any fucking arguement.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda, Patriots make it to the Super Bowl last year. I guess Lady Luck just wasn't on the Ravens side? Last year isn't this year, if you seriously think the Ravens can stop all those weapons the Patriots have you're high and that's fine. I also didn't think they could stop the Colts or the Broncos, obviously I was wrong. I don't want the Ravens to lose, I just don't think they match up well on defense. They can't stop the run and the Pats have 3 stellar running and receiving backs.

WE could go all week on this and never resolve it.. I hardly think the local Baltimore paper is credible... I mean what are they going to say?

yeah they should call them the new jersey giants.  They don't call the devils the New York Devils.  I guess people are idiots.  You can call their team the New York Giants and New Yorkers root for them and you call another team the New Jersey Devils and New Yorkers dont' root for them even though they play in the same place.

So yeah landover nfl team is what I call them.

Who cares who you think is going to win on Sunday?  The game will be decided on the field.  I am sure it will be a close game like the previous patirot/ravens games have been.

And the Landover nfl team and the wizards have both only one playoff round during the last 12 years.  Though the wizards have been in the playoffs more.  two sucky teams.

Of course we can't resolve it.  We weren't there.  The prosecution were complete idiots and let the defense lead the trial so there is nothing to be gained by reading the transcript.  So none of us knows what really happened.
