and is rush even metal?  what song of theirs would you consider metal?

like triumph, rush is firmly in the hard rock category, with a healthy side of prog.  maybe i'm putting things into too narrow silos, but IMO hard rock isn't the same as metal...

Rush is totally prog, not metal. I wouldn't even call them prog-metal.

That said, they're TERRIBLE.

For the record, wiki has Rush listed as Heavy Metal  ...while I agree on a technical level, they are not Heavy Metal
, they are a huge part of the longevity and breadth of that genre more that most spandex wearing longhairs

i love that he has a "Reduced Version (fewer graphics)" of the page.  load time time on the full version was creeping up into the double-digit milliseconds...
