My better half, Obama winning, a friend or two, and all the great concerts I saw this year..This really was a great year concertwise for me... And thanks to the new camera I bought in May I actually have a record of most of them....

 Financially/"career"wise a very poor year...disconcertingly so..

You know what? While I still stand by my belief that spending all the capital the democrats have gained under Bush II on Obama was a mistake, I am absoultely glad we no longer have a Republican in office. The prospect of Biden and Hillary being the VP/Secretary of State has me downright giddy. As does Napolitano as AG.

I'm thankful for family, friends, and health; for living in a great city; and for living in a country that made a difficult choice to do the right thing.

Oh, and I'm also thankful that in real life, I rarely have to deal with conversations interrupted by Republican and libertarian boors.

However, I'm thankful they're both here.

I am thankful for, my beautiful wife, the 47% pay increase i got this year, the Yankees not making the playoffs, Obama Obama Obama, Celtics as NBA Champs, my every friday morning shopittome.com email, seeing Radiohead twice this year and that my parents are considering moving to the US after all this time.

and i usually loathe even numbered years for some reason.
