For some reason a few of my friends wanted to play D&D for the first time. So Friday night we all went to my buds house and my bud got a starter pack. It was pretty fun. Don't really understand where the negative stigma comes from, although we only completed 2 missions in about 4 hours... There were also tons of smoke breaks, which didn't help. Maybe it's just because people spend so much time doing it? I guess also the fantasy element. Once you pick up on it, it's pretty easy to play... I guess that also falls on the "dungeon master" and it WAS just the beginner adventure. It's fun though! I was surprised. I was anti it before hand.
