Asheville is rife with kava bars. Some guy in Richmond tried to open one but the health department or restaurant regulatory body or whatever it is refused to give him a license. Tough sledding for people who want mouth numbing chill water.

apparently some folks swear by working out stoned.  rogan got into it on his podcast a while back, saying how some of his friends won't work out unless under the influence of THC.  personally, i'm on the complete opposite end: getting high = zero chance of lifting, 98% chance of couching.

if your question is more about smoking and driving... different risk assessment and tolerance?  just like how some folks won't drive if they've had even one drink, while others feel comfortable getting behind the wheel after 2, or 3, or...  and just like alcohol, tolerance and amount consumed are part of the equation.  did she have a quick small puff, or did she light up a marley?

Working out stoned is great, but, the only problem is everyone will know. The smell of it will leach out your pores as you sweat, making you reak the entire workout.

And Space, your wife, like a lot of stoners, knows she drives 100% better while high.  It's just the way it is.

I typically spark a fatty before every long bike ride
I’ll ride 60-70 miles with a few smoke breaks

Biggest issue is I sometimes start daydreaming and my mph goes low

But doesn’t impact my breathing at all

yeah, agreed, but different strokes... maybe the "motivational" benefits outweigh the cardio drawbacks, for some?
