It's called, buying because of a label. Americans, do it all the time. Ask people who wouldn't be caught dead in Wrangler jeans, as they pay over $200 a pair for some label brand.
You know, what my favorite part of label buying in this country is? When I hear a parent tell me that their child is being bullied at school, because other kids are making fun of them because they're not wearing the most expensive labeled clothes, or that their cell phone isn't the best generation out there.
