The Beat w/ Ranking Roger - Public Confidential

Gotta say this is very worthy addition to The Beat cannon.  He’s pulled together a really tight group of musicians for this incarnation and he sounds great as a vocalist.  It sounds like he was ready to take on the world again prior to being diagnosed with cancel.  Fans of The Beat wouldn’t be disappointed in this one.

Never thought the words Indie pop dance floor filler and Idlewild would happen but there is a Belle & Sebastianesque track on Interview Music.  The album definitely has them stretching their sound in a good way.

Zefur Wolves - Truth In The Stars

Newest album from SFA side project,  a nice shoegazer outing with some psychedelic 60 touches

I’m enjoying the new Chemical Brothers release.  I’m a lousy trainspotter, but lots of nods to old school rave, techno, House, ambient, etc on it.  I like how it’s sequenced like a mixtape and wow the baseline on the opening tracks is seriously killer

I’ll state the obvious that the Lizzo album is straight up a really really really great first listen.  Gonna be listening to this one for awhile

Live New order from Manchester 2017
Should be excellent as their live show has been top notch as of late

Live New Order after 1985 just doesn’t do much for me.....unless I am there...not sure why

I would like the Movement box but it’s real pricey
