Well if Trump actually got rid of Mulvaney as long rumoured I would think Mick would go straight to K Street

That makes sense but I guess my question was why would Trump get rid of Mulvaney?

Cause he thinks Mulvaney does a shit job

Cause Trump is his own Chief if Staff and nobody can ever do it like he would...as far as Trump is concerned the only thing that matters is how they do on the Sunday news shows and Mulvaney kind of struck out

He must have a great gig lined up...maybe replacing Mulvaney
that's what the word is that he's getting ready for a position in the Trump administration

i read that he was gearing up for a 2022 senate run.

https://www.politico.com/news/2019/12/19/white-house-impeachment-mulvaney-088246
Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney is widely expected to leave his current position once the Senate wraps up its impeachment trial and the intense scrutiny of the West Wing settles down, according to five aides and confidants to President Donald Trump.
Mulvaney no longer wields much control over White House staff. Lately, he has been left out of major personnel and policy decisions, and he is not driving the strategy on impeachment even though he occupies what is historically the most powerful job in the West Wing.
“He is there. I’ll leave it at that,” said a Republican close to the White House when asked about Mulvaney’s status. “He’s like a kid. His role at the dinner table is to be seen and not heard.”

ouch

I'd be a little worried he'd decide to flip and spill the beans...

also...does the dinner table that "Republican close to the White House" sit at with kids from the Pilgrim era?

Team Trump just put up a site https://snowflakevictory.com/
How to win an argument with your liberal relatives

with classics like
"Don’t let crazy family members and friends get away with throwing out liberal talking points and faux “feelings”. "

"First, there was the Russian hoax, two years and over $35 million of hard-working taxpayer dollars wasted and nothing found. "
really nothing...then why are some of your advisors in jail or waiting to go to jail?

"And, to top it off, under President Obama, Ukraine never received this kind of lethal military aid AT ALL.
It is thanks to President Trump, that the Ukrainians are getting the aid in the first place."

I love these...as they are only thanks to the Dems push over decades to make it happen and he takes the credit
"America’s environmental record is one of the strongest in the world and the U.S. has also been a world leader in reducing carbon emissions for over a decade.

We have the cleanest air on record and remain a global leader for access to clean drinking water. President Trump has taken important steps to restore, preserve, and protect our land, air, and waters."

What? Trump has taken steps to "restore, preserve, and protect our land, air, and waters"  please show some examples of that?

I know, I just need to ignore this stuff...but it's soo hard

I for one am please to see Amy get a little more press and notice

but I will go on record that these hash tags are not helping....
Klomentum
Klobucharge

my fear is it's going to end with
Klobucharred
or
Klobbered

and Trump hasn't really rolled out her insult nick name yet...this was his worst so far

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Well, it happened again. Amy Klobuchar announced that she is running for President, talking proudly of fighting global warming while standing in a virtual blizzard of snow, ice and freezing temperatures. Bad timing. By the end of her speech she looked like a Snowman(woman)!

I like Amy, a lot.

I think a simple "Joe and Amy" ticket would appeal to the blue collar folks they need to win over in PA. MI, WI, etc. Just wish Joe was younger.

Julián Castro drops out of presidential race

for the future future

So we look to be down to 15 'major' candidates
Still a strong showing by the B-Boys (Bennet, biden, bloomberg, booker, buttigieg, Bernie)
John Delaney is still running!

somewhat a shocker that she was still in this race
