Did a Dr tell you that or is that conjecture?

Which part are you doubting? Do you think you have immunity? Do you doubt that fever and inflammation are immune responses? Don't you agree that alcohol makes people act dumb?
Honestly being snarky...but I do think there is SOO much we don't know about this, that I question the confidence of anyone who makes any statement like its fact on the internet.

If you were Doctor with a specialty in Infectious diseases, well then I might take you more seriously.

What I do think is Alcohol and cigarettes (and pot for that matter) make your body MORE susceptible to infections of any type
Your bodies ability to fight any infection is impaired, therefore you are more vulnerable to catch and be infected by Covid
Also I'd theorize that your bodies ability to fight or 'defeat' corona would also be impaired
Meaning that if a healthy sober person was in the same room as someone coughing up Covid, my theory is they would be a lot less likely to get and then have a serious possibly deadly infection than the drunk who was next to them

Although they say Alcohol over 60% kills it...so maybe we should all be drinking Barcadi 151

Just a theory, I'm doing some clinical trial studies right now, interested in signing up?
It's super easy to get funding right now, just making sure it's an open bar type arrangement

Maybe that some whakadoodle hippy theory...
I'm pretty confident that my take on things is mocked here...but I don't let that get me down

Now this fucking cast I have to wear for the next 4 weeks...that is getting me down

Having pre-existing conditions (obesity, diabetes, etc) may put you at greater risk, but not having them doesn't confer protection.  I know a bunch of near-elite marathon runnners, including someone training for a sub-2:50. He contracted COVID and recovered,  but couldnt even walk a mile when he was discharged.

To be fair, I’ve seen no one (on here or any place sane people exchange thoughts) claim such a thing.

Interesting how the wives of these guys are getting Covid
I’m not really sure what that means but I’m sure Some snarky joke would fit in here well

At least 15 states broke their single-day novel coronavirus infection records this week

"Right now, if you look at the number of cases, it's quite disturbing. We're setting records, practically every day, of new cases in the numbers that are reported. That clearly is not the right direction," NIAID director Anthony Fauci told medical journal JAMA on Thursday.

I'm sure this gets the Hutch Seal Of Approval
DEVO – Energy Dome PPE Kit (Personal Protection Equipment

$60 seems a little steep if it doesn't come with the yellow jumpsuit

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the release of the album Freedom of Choice and the first appearance of the Energy Dome. Devo is celebrating in a very Devo way–buy selling official Energy Dome hats with face shields. As the band said, “The Dome collects energy that escapes from the crown of the human head and pushes it back into the Medula Oblongata for increased mental energy. It’s very important that you acquire a plastic hard hat liner adjusted to your head size and fix it with duct tape or super glue to the inside of the dump. This allows the Dome to float just about the cranium and thus do its job. Unfortunately sans hard hat liner the recirculation of energy will not occur!”

Asking for a friend ....

I keep hearing about the constitutional right to not wear a mask in a Privately owned store.

So was that in the bill of rights? or tucked into an amendment where's it's in legalese?

ever hear of a retailer taken to court over "no shirt, no shoes, no service"?  why would masks be different?
