Did a Dr tell you that or is that conjecture?
Which part are you doubting? Do you think you have immunity? Do you doubt that fever and inflammation are immune responses? Don't you agree that alcohol makes people act dumb?
Honestly being snarky...but I do think there is SOO much we don't know about this, that I question the confidence of anyone who makes any statement like its fact on the internet.
If you were Doctor with a specialty in Infectious diseases, well then I might take you more seriously.
What I do think is Alcohol and cigarettes (and pot for that matter) make your body MORE susceptible to infections of any type
Your bodies ability to fight any infection is impaired, therefore you are more vulnerable to catch and be infected by Covid
Also I'd theorize that your bodies ability to fight or 'defeat' corona would also be impaired
Meaning that if a healthy sober person was in the same room as someone coughing up Covid, my theory is they would be a lot less likely to get and then have a serious possibly deadly infection than the drunk who was next to them
Although they say Alcohol over 60% kills it...so maybe we should all be drinking Barcadi 151
Just a theory, I'm doing some clinical trial studies right now, interested in signing up?
It's super easy to get funding right now, just making sure it's an open bar type arrangement
Maybe that some whakadoodle hippy theory...
I'm pretty confident that my take on things is mocked here...but I don't let that get me down
Now this fucking cast I have to wear for the next 4 weeks...that is getting me down
