This show I was at was amazing

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/pearl-jam/1992/molson-park-barrie-on-canada-63d64e97.html

(that set list is incomplete, likely something more like this.  even flow was like 15-20 minutes long, as eddie climbed the huge dome covering the stage.  he was clearly high as a kite, both literally and figuratively, and freaked the eff out when he got to the top... t'was epic, and i'm glad he survived)

Incidentally the SPAC Lolla show you used as an example was my wife’s second concert ever.

Sorry, I missed this conversation.

I once went to a Fugazi show and both L7 and Pearl Jam opened, but I would have to say one of my all-time my favorite shows was October '91, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Temple of the Dog all opening for Soundgarden at the Palladium in Hollywood (not my fave PJ show, but ALL TIME shows).

As headliners, RATM opening for Pearl Jam right before my high school graduation was also pretty awesome, and seeing both of them again at Lollapalooza that summer was pretty good too.

But I would say my all time favorite PJ show was the Empire Polo Grounds (now commonly referred to as Coachella) in '93.  Did the overnight, all of it, before it was cool, and even though the crowd pissed off Eddie with some shoe throwing and they played Sonic Reducer behind the stacks, they crushed a solid playlist and capped it with a Baba O'Riley ending:

Release
Go
Animal
Why Go
Deep
Jeremy
Glorified G
Daughter
Alive
Rearviewmirror
Improvisation
Blood
Rats
Once
Porch
Fuck Me in the Brain
Sonic Reducer
Even Flow
Indifference
Baba O'Riley

not sure I'd want to go to a concert if I had to wear a mask the entire time
I understand the why, I just would not attend

Anyone catch The Decemberists show last night.  1st show of 3.  Might catch one of the last two.

there is an a "audience must remain 30' from the stage" rule in DC for shows.

I don't even think the floor is 30 feet deep at the arlo porkrolleggandcheese show

yeah and the link is for Pearl St, at least they have that outdoor area, as that's about 30 feet from the stage
