Though opening schools safely and responsibly doesn't seem to be a priority.

I am fairly confident, that I am losing, my mind.
watched Tweedy show friday night, Deer Tick saturday night. I enjoyed, and don't regret, but Unsatisfying to say the least.

I was just refunded for Amyl and the Sniffers at Ottobar

I had assumed this had already happened not that I much care...

I really feel for bands that were on the way up - building their fan base- only to be stopped dead on the tracks...some will now never make it.. live music being so important in terms of $ it’s got to suck... a lot of these musicians that were on the way to stardom are now probably collecting unemployment

It all seems rather black these days

I received an email with a refund for Brendan Benson at U St.  There are 3 options:

1) IMP Voucher for 125% of face value (valid for 1 year from reopening)
2) Refund to credit card
3) Donate to IMP Family Fund

Obviously soon we will see people begin to buy out music venues that otherwise can’t survive....

Saw them at RnR. Not sure that was the same show.

Dragged the wife and she enjoyed them immensely. Won’t talk about them to her friends, of course.

I just bought tickets to see Bjork in Reykjavik at the end of August.  My thinking is, my girlfriend and I are vaccinated and hopefully most of Iceland will be by July - luckily the airfare has no change fees in case covid gets bad again (they had something like 50 new cases over the weekend).  It's going to be a weird experience for sure (fully expecting to still have covid-PTSD by the time it roles around)
