And I'm enjoying the new Celeste album

good to see a former boardee is still putting out music.  someone should ask James Ford for his review.

Well my name's not James Ford, but i can tell you I've heard a couple of tracks and agree with Kosmo that it's good stuff.

James Ford would probably have something snarkier to say.

my expectation is that James Ford would have noted the "still putting out" portion, ignored the "music" that came immediately after, and proceed to provide confirmation that sex is indeed still being had on the reg.

That sounds a lot like Space!

I’m really enjoying the new  Billie Joe Armstrong  covers album “No Fun Mondays”. It’s like going into a diner with a really great jukebox. Sometimes you just need some comfort food and good tunes.  As Keef and Mick once said "I said I know it's only rock 'n' roll but I like it"

i missed the original release in December:

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE THE GEORGIA EP LIMITED-EDITION PEACH VINYL
Death Cab for Cutie / The Georgia EP
Originally released in December as a 24-hour Bandcamp exclusive, the project – featuring covers of iconic artists from the state of Georgia – raised over $100K for Fair Fight Action, Stacey Abrams' voting rights organization promoting fair elections around the country and combating voter suppression. The project – recorded remotely over just four days in the band members' home studios – was recently released digitally everywhere and is now available for pre-order in limited-edition peach-colored vinyl.

Tracklist:
  • Waterfalls (TLC cover)
  • King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1 (Neutral Milk Hotel cover)
  • Fall On Me (R.E.M. cover)
  • Flirted With You All My Life (Vic Chesnutt cover)
  • Metal Heart (Cat Power cover)

I draw the line at covers albums... I just can’t take an EP of covers seriously

Didn’t you recently post about listening and enjoying a tribute LP?

Anybody get the new Foo Fighters?
A nice piece of work and it's great to have an album under 40 mins, esp since FF have been in the 50 range it seems.

This one starts off differently before a more comfortable FF feel

The Pitchfork review was highly entertaining.
