yeah, his personal 757 was falling apart just as he was elected in 2016. since he suddenly had access to Air Force One, they mothballed his 757. now after all those years of disuse, it apparently needs millions of dollars in maintenance before it can fly again - i vaguely remember reading that both engines need to be replaced.
trump already has tens of millions of dollars in his superPACs, and he could use that money to fix up his plane (lots of flexibility there, and a plane is a legitimate "transportation" expense) but of course donnie isn't going to use "his" money - why pass up a perfectly good opportunity to get the suckaz to pay for it?
