Taking time out from his search for the real killers to comment on COVID vaccinations and the Afghanistan situations. Thanks Juice!

Pentagon says Kabul airport is secure, plans to evacuate 5,000 to 9,000 people per day
At a briefing in Washington, U.S. officials said that approximately 3,500 troops were on the ground at Kabul's Hamid Karzai International Airport as of Tuesday morning, with 500 more expected by the end of the day.

About 100,000 people, including American citizens and Afghans who qualify for so-called special immigrant visas, or SIVs, are believed to be seeking to leave the country.
so we haven't really left yet...isn't that number higher than what was there the week before?

Well I suppose the number will grow and grow…You could probably find millions of Afghanis who would love to come here.

One thing about people living in developing countries: they imagine living here like we are all millionaires kicking back at the beach. They have no idea that at least half of Americans are struggling to get by.. that most Americans can’t even afford a few hundred dollars emergency…they see the movies…here the things we want them to believe…we don’t advertise that half our country loathes immigrants, for example… that upward mobility has become largely a myth

If someone offered you two tickets to paradise wouldn’t you take them?

West Baltimore born and raised
Hanging outside Pimlico was where I spent most of my days
Working out, staking my corner, defrauding a fool
Shooting up heroin outside a school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said you’re moving in with Hutch in Virginia somewhere!

The mujahideen resistance to the Taliban begins now. But we need help.
"I write from the Panjshir Valley today, ready to follow in my father’s footsteps, with mujahideen fighters who are prepared to once again take on the Taliban. We have stores of ammunition and arms that we have patiently collected since my father’s time, because we knew this day might come."

I whistled for a cab but Hutch was already near
His license plate said VINYL and there was dice in the mirror
I almost thought I should up and run
But I decided, "no forget it:" "yo, Homes - to Arlington!"
I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to Hutch 'Yo, Homes, smell ya later'
I looked at his couch, where his records were spun
Now it is my bed, as the Prince of Arlington
