You’d think people would think it’s kind of cool given the Beatles and Stones go way back so it’s a bit of a closing off the circle. Around 60 years ago George Harrison recommended to Decca (the label had passed on the Beatles saying guitar bands were on the way out and Decca had been crying seeing the Beatles success on Parlophone) that they sign the Stones. McCartney and Lennon gifted them one of the Stones first hits: I wanna be your man (I think). The whole Beatles-Stones “rivalry” was manufactured even if my kid gets excited that let it bleed was a response to let it be.
So even if the Stones and Paul put out a track of them using the loo I think it has potential. I mean hell people at live shows really enjoyed the Stones singing Like a rolling stone with Dylan.
Dudes are in their 80s and track will probably underwhelm - how could it not- but I will still give it a chance
