is there hope the USMT will beat those limeys with this run of colossal upsets

at least own goal isn't the leading story this time around
are their odds on own goals?

That second Japanese goal…man the first touch…sick skill

I remember being in Japan in 1982 and Boca Juniors came with Maradona and did a tour beating Japanese teams without breaking a sweat including the national team..

Now look at them!

That group is a killer …Spain, Germany and Japan

Iran just did the US a huge favor by beating Wales 2-0.

That’s a phrase you rarely hear
So to make it to the next round they can lose to eng and need to tie or beat iran

Well I wouldn’t go into it assuming anything but for example if England beat the US then the US would have to beat Iran cause Iran now has three points and the US would have one

If Wales surprised England they would have four points.

Remember if England has six points after today and everyone else has one they may rest a lot of starters against Wales (if their goal differential is good vs Iran going into third game)

If the US loses to England and then ties Iran, wouldn’t Iran advance? (US two ties, Iran 1 win and 1 tie.) AKA the greatest outcome imaginable.

It is sad that these are the only two good things about USMT *
It’s a young team
England have never beaten USA in a World Cup match

*of course there are a few good things
