Can indicted or convicted people run for President?

It’s going to be crazy having the Republican favorite for nomination under multiple indictments?

Will just tear us apart more

Can indicted or convicted people run for President?

Can Trump run for president from prison? Yes, and it’s been done before.

It’s going to be crazy having the Republican favorite for nomination under multiple indictments?

your skepticism is understandable, but it's starting to take shape:

Donald Trump indicted in classified documents probe, sources say

7 counts, first court appearance (arraignment) on tuesday so we'll get the nitty-gritty then.

38, not 7:

31x Willful Retention of National Defense Information
1x Conspiracy to Obstruct Justice
1x Withholding a Document or Record
1x Corruptly Concealing a Document or Record
1x Concealing a Document in a Federal Investigation
1x Scheme to Conceal
2x  False Statements and Representations

can't decide whether to laugh or cry:

selected quote from Republicans buckle down for what could be marathon blockade:
  • “Let’s face it, when we pass things around here that are messaging bills that don’t do anything, is it really a loss that we’re not passing anything?” Perry said. “And when we do pass things around here that actually hurt the American people, is it a loss that we’re not doing any of that?”
  • “I don’t even know what the logjam’s about,” Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas.) said. “Just a bunch of crybabies.”
  • Complicating McCarthy’s dilemma, the conservatives are airing their grievances without naming specific demands that might end the standoff.
“My idea is that he broke it, he’s gotta fix it, and that it’s not up to me to come up with a solution,” said Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), former head of the Freedom Caucus. “It’s up to him. So I’m waiting to see what he proposes.”
that first quote has me concerned that the GOP is dangerously close to self-awareness.

“Not surprised Ron DeSantis is looking for a set of balls,” said Chris LaCivita, a senior adviser to Trump’s campaign.

looking like both the Arizona GOP party and the Michigan GOP party are in dire financial straits, in no small part due to their support for trump's 2020 election fraud claims.  unless they can find new donors or other sources of cash, their ability to put up a fight in 2024 will be severely compromised.

An appeals court just ordered New York to redraw their pro-Republican House map, a move that could unseat as many as SIX Republican House members.

The current GOP majority is only 5 seats.

Why can’t the GOP stop fucking with dc

They decided to ban traffic cameras and put a 100 million dollar hole in the budget

https://dcist.com/story/23/07/14/house-gop-passes-bill-targeting-dc-laws/

Also now allows concealed carry in dc and on metro.  Now MAGAs will be loaded while in DC
