A friends band…with Pittsburgh roots

They have some videos up…I would describe them as funky jam bandish. They played Jammin Java last year - their first show in like 25 years

It was a fun show! Maybe a bit of a trek from the north, but the "price per note played" ratio can't be beat!

definitely like 9th tier hamband... but I could've sworn they had a large african american lead singer. I definitely saw them in the 90's when they shared the stage with superstar bands like New Potato Caboose and Hypnotic Clambake

Interesting Yada that you go that far back….

This is sort of a new agglomeration in part….i think there are only three members from the last iteration which was itself a variation of the group that played the Pitt circuit along with bands like Rusted Root (the one band to make it from there)

Anyways these are people with regular careers just getting together for good vibes…

I would say they are entirely off the grid tier wise but I enjoyed them…

The “School’s Out” matinee by  Breakfast All Day Records
features alt-rockers Scoria; jammy act Lola; and the Plastic Toys, a trio that features one-third of the label’s brain trust on drums.

Breakfast All Day Records was launched by Bethesda high-schoolers last year. The label’s mission statement was published on Instagram but could have been released any time in the last 40 years: “With so many exciting things happening in the teenage music scene locally, we want to work to document and share it with you.” (June 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Songbyrd. songbyrddc.com. $12-$15.)
