Yeah i saw 2 of his solo shows as tweedy and felt the tweedy songs were kinda meh

But almost 2 decades ago caught a lounge ax solo shows right before summer teeth that was mind blowingly amazing

That Atlantis show looked good

That would be a fun show with a bunch of new songs thrown in

one for the most insane amongst us

The Last Dinner Party
From The Pyre
Island Records
10/17

and while i'm an admitted fan of over blown produced pop albums even their debut was a bit much for me, will likely revisit at some point.

A friend who has known my music taste for 35+ years was surprised I liked their debut. So will also look forward to their new one.

Shit. All I had to do was look at the album cover to know you'd be a fan.

Here’s a debut album that might tickle some fancies here

Hailing from Muscle Shoals the duo Sister Ray Davies are releasing “Holy Island”

Their record label Sonic Cathedral describes them thusly

It’s a stunning mix of fuzzy guitars, folk horror and fantastic melodies – for fans of Ride, Slowdive, Galaxie 500, Talk Talk, Yo La Tengo and The Clientele.
